Mr. Greaton has done it again. I know many were disappointed with this work. He states, it’s part I of the series. Currently, there are three out with another in the making.

At first, I was a bit at a loss on the composition of this short. I felt I was reading two completely different works. Perhaps the wrong “save” button was hit. Not the case. Stick with the story as he slowly melds the two into one. Seriously, I didn’t see it coming and maybe that’s why many have felt cheated.

Some readers weren’t thrilled with the excerpt from, “Under Heaven.” I believe it’s the perfect hook. This is Tim’s style. I read that book over a year ago and it is an excellent story. Now, some might think I’m “homering” Tim. Hardly. I’ve read many of his books and provided honest reviews. Some five, some three stars.

Back on point. The short version. Something has gone terribly wrong in Groacherville, Maine. An explosion at the abandoned military complex has released a strange cloud over the football field. Kayla Windless is thrust into a world of smoke and fog. Her senses are clouded as she struggles to find her girlfriends and seek refuge. Unfortunately, her unseen path (on crutches) has her falling into pile of angry red ants, ready to feast on her body. As she struggles back to safety, the ants are changing her physiology.

Meet Thomas. The leader of the current Vampire underground. He and his clan watch the unfolding events with interest and curiosity. Okay, that’s all I can say without giving any more away.

Give this work a chance. It will have you ready to read parts II, III, IV.

Who will like this? Lovers of modern Vampire stories with an unseen twist.

good book, would recommend to anyone who loves vampire books, there is nothing that I disliked about this book. Good author.

These books are super short just when you get into it it is over that being said they are a great read but To the author if you are setting up a series like this that are so very short you should be spitting out the next one very quickly and that is not happening here so that is disappointing bc w just a small view and nothing to keep me reading bc the books just end randomly I will eventually forget about the series all together and not get the next book
Went to fast. I will read more of Angelica Raeas series. This book went to fast, would have liked more info as to each person came to like.

I like how this isn't your typical vampire story, vampire bites human, human becomes vampire, vampires live happily ever after...well, not this one! Even though this is just the beginning, I know that the rest of the installments in this series will be epic. I really enjoyed this and I can't wait to read more. My only complaint is that this "episode" is a bit short. I would have loved to have more to read.
Don't get me wrong... It had potential to be a great book, if it were not for the 63 pages of [~] (consisting primarily of list after list of their other books and an unnecessarily lengthy preview of a completely unrelated book... With VERY few pages of actual "story"- if you can call it that) and it cutting off right at the most inopportune time and not delivering an ounce of what it's description/author's synopsis promised...

Based on the description this book boasts when you go to purchase it, I expected a lot more. A [~] of a lot more, and was very, very, very disappointed in this book. I expected more than a 63 page short story written like a television series and am quite relieved I did not actually purchase this book and found it "free" in the store. I wouldn't bother paying the $0.99 USD for the second one.

A note to authors Books are NOT meant to be written like episodes from a television series. Go actually write a television series if you want to do it that way, and if you do, I honestly hope your "episodes" contain more sustenance than this.
